This option makes a copy of any highlighted controls in a component's controls tree. This copy is then added directly to the controls tree. This provides a quicker way of duplicating controls than can be achieved by copying and pasting them to and from the clipboard, which is also a option. When a control is duplicated it automatically receives a new name, in order to differentiate it from existing controls.
Duplicate controls.
On the UX Builder's UX Controls page highlight the controls that you want to duplicate.
Click the 'Menu' dropdown on the page's toolbar and select 'Duplicate selected controls'.
You will receive a notice if there are any data controls with conflicting field names, click OK.
Additional warnings may appear concerning name conflicts, click OK again.
The duplicate controls should appear in the controls tree.
